Kids are unforgiving design critics and won't hesitate to yawn at things that don't hold their interest. I just love their clear feedback. Through focus and usability testing, I discovered that kids are remarkably like grown-ups when it comes to online navigation fundamentals: they hate to read, they like instant gratification but will remain patient if they anticipate a good payoff.
