A disclaimer worth reading

While vicariously traipsing through Douglas Bowman's photo galleries today, I happened upon this gem of a disclaimer from which I quote:

If you're still using Internet Explorer 5.x -- for either Windows (5.0 and 5.5) or Macintosh (5.0 through 5.2 -- as your browser, you may notice this site looks devoid of any style or design. The code is not broken. This stripped-down version for IE5 is intentional...Just as we've been hiding style sheets from Netscape 4 for the last few years due to poor CSS support, it's now time to drop IE5 into the same bucket. IE5 is now more than five years old, and is built with outdated technology and standards support that's lacking compared with other more modern browsers.

Umm, yeah...what he said!
